
Even though it was the last week of school, fifth grade was busy at work making some awesome paper tube relief sculptures with Mrs. Rodgers in Art! After assembling their work in the classroom, students took their work outside and got to spray paint them! #MTA #Art 🎨








Sixth grade worked in groups to create a 3D animal of their choice. The students used rectangular prisms to create the animal. Then, students measured each body part’s length, width, and height to calculate the volume and surface area of their animal. Animal choices included a panda bear, turtle, pig, axolotl, pufferfish, and wiener dog! 🐼🐢🐶🐷











Fourth grade had their traditional Fort Day to celebrate all their hard work this year! They had so much fun building forts, watching movies, and eating delicious snacks! #MTA #EndofYearFun










Last Friday, we celebrated the graduation of our kindergarteners, Aloha-style! Students received a special award and gifts from Mrs. Vella and Mrs. Thomas and celebrated their memorable first year at Mother Teresa Academy with their families! They also joined Mrs. Jauss and sang a few songs to their families, including our very own MTA theme song! We are so proud of them and cannot wait to see what they accomplish during their time as Saints! Kindergarten went to a carnival held by our big brothers and sisters at Prep for “C” day yesterday! They loved it! They had water balloons, bubbles, hopscotch, giant Connect 4, a pool duck game, popcorn, and snow cones. It was a great day! #MTA #Family 🍿🍧

Last Friday was a fun-filled Sports Day for our students!
Our Middle School students kicked off the day at the Hagerty Events Center (HFEC) to compete in field sports against one another. Each middle school homeroom teacher had a team! Mr. Conley was grey, Ms. Rohm was blue, Ms. Nolan was red, and Mr. Cox was black. Students competed in volleyball, tug-of-war, and other sports.
Elementary School students joined in on the fun at HFEC. Balloon toss, dodgeball, and sponge relay were just a few highlights from their day! We were so blessed to have such a beautiful day to spend with our students having fun! #MTA #SportsDay🏈🏐👟

Second, third, and fourth grade celebrated their hard work this year by going to Frontier Park! They got to play on the playground, explore the creek, climb trees, and run around in the sun! #MTA #Family 🏞☀











Today was “G” day for Kindergarten, a.k.a. Glow Day! They played with glow balloons, used glowing ink for their assignments, and played glow games of Jenga, bowling, tic-tac-toe, Connect 4, and made bracelets! #MTA #BackwardsBootcamp ✨











Middle school students took a field trip to Asbury Woods today! They walked the trails and completed a scavenger hunt. Some excitement included finding a toad and a snake, climbing the big tree, and making it to the creek. They ended the afternoon by grilling hotdogs and playing in the rain! #MTA 🏞









Kindergarten and first grade grade went to Frontier Park today!! Kindergarten flew their kites and learned to play kickball versus first grade. First grade won, 5-2, but kindergarten put up quite the effort and learned to give high fives and good jobs when the game ended! #MTA #Family 🪁

First grade took a trip to Asbury Woods yesterday! They learned how to make tree rubbings and collected items from nature. When they got back to school, students used their nature items to make clay impressions! #MTA #Nature 🌳








Seventh grade applied their knowledge of ratios, proportions, and scale measures to enlarge candy wrappers. The students had to correctly measure the wrapper and parts of its design to scale up and measure onto large paper. After all measurements were gathered and calculations scaled up, students then colored their scale drawing to complete the project! #MTA #MathFun 🍫









Today was “P” day for Kindergarten’s “Backwards Bootcamp!” What better way to celebrate with a picnic in the park in play clothes! They saw deer prints, heard woodpeckers, saw vultures, played in teepees, and learned many things about nature. The day ended with a trip to the playground! #MTA #BackwardsBootcamp 🏞









Kindergarten’s “Backwards Bootcamp” continued today with Q and U’s wedding! It was full of surprise guests, laughter, a reception, bubbles, wedding cake, and queso! #MTA #BackwardsBootcamp 🤵👰
