Juan Pablo Dogre Milet had a hat trick. Cam Dunbar and Anuar Elias Martin Angli each scored a pair. Logan Sauers also scored. ⚽ • Girls volleyball swept Erie High. Varsity swept the Royals, 3-0. Carolina Krahe had nine kills and five digs. Olivia Hutchinson had nine kills, while Coco Speros had eight kills. Mackenzie Moore had five digs. Kamryn Resurreccion had eight digs and 30 assists. Sophomore, junior and senior MedPath students visited Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. today. Adrienne (Kloecker) Kalivoda ’12VMA gave a very spirited and engaging day-in-the-life of a funeral director lecture, and gave a detailed tour of the embalming process. She provided insights into grief management, bereavement support, estate settlement and the emotional aspects of healthcare, as well as the interdisciplinary collaboration between nurses, doctors, end of life care professionals, coroners and funeral directors. #Prep #MedPath

GlobalPath and TechPath students visited Mercyhurst University’s School of Intelligence, Computing, and Global Politics. They were given the opportunity to experience lessons from some of the most acclaimed individuals in the fields. Students had a chance to learn about Mercyhurst’s Political Science, Intelligence Studies, and Cyber Security programs, and were granted a tour of the very impressive Center for Intelligence Research, Analysis, and Training (CIRAT) which included personal conversations/stories/lessons from some of Mercyhurst’s best educators. Cathedral Prep Weekend Athletics Roundup: • Football split their weekend matchups against Butler. On Homecoming, varsity rolled to a 54-7 victory over the Golden Tornado. Luke Costello threw a pair of touchdowns to Max Spence and Corey Allen. He also scored twice on the ground. Dajoure Hollingsworth and Charbel Latouf each had over 100 yards on the ground. Hollingsworth found the end zone three times, while Latouf had a score. JVs lost their game, 36-8. 🏈 • Boys water polo split their weekend at the Screamin’ Eagle tournament. The fell to host Cumberland Valley, 11-8, before defeating Exeter, 10-5. Callum Snider-Mills had nine total goals to lead the Ramblers. Guests gathered while hearing about the latest school information from President Kevin Smith. Student speakers included senior Luke Costello ’24 and junior Julia Scrutchins ’25. The pairings of Margaret Prichard/Paige Patsy and Sofia Falvo/Lilli Beuchert picked up victories in the first round, while Finleigh Handzel/Sophia Glance earned a bye. All three teams would win their second-round and quarterfinal matches. In the semifinals, Glance/Handzel defeated the tandem from Warren, while Prichard/Patsy defeated Falvo/Beuchert to advance to the AA Championship match. In a battle of the Ramblers, Glance/Handzel would take the title 7-6 (7-1), 6-3, over Prichard/Patsy. Congratulations, Finleigh 26 and Sophia 25! On Senior Night, varsity picked up a huge 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-16) win over the Trojans. Kaylin Laird had 10 kills. Coco Speros and Olivia Hutchinson finished with eight kills each.
