Earlier today, we were blessed to have two, first-class relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and Saint Manuel for our weekly mass. These two relics are making stops throughout the country in recognition of the multi-year Eucharistic Revival that is taking place. This was a truly special gift to have these relics in our presence. May their presence be a reminder for all of us that we too are called to be saints and guide one another closer to the risen Jesus. #Prep #Faith ✝

Today we celebrated the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, which is a holy day of obligation. Cathedral Prep Chaplain Fr. Jason Feigh celebrated Mass and Fr. Mike DeMartinis concelebrated as we were reminded that Jesus is always with us as we pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon us all at Pentecost. During one of the last gatherings of the entire student body for the 2022-2023 school year, Fr. Jason encouraged us to answer the call to let our words and action be guided by Easter joy. We also blessed a prayer shawl for Xavier Dombkowski ’25 that many students, faculty, and staff members helped create and prayed over as we continue to remember him throughout his continuous battle with cancer. If you have not had an opportunity to join in a Mass today, please visit www.eriercd.org for complete information on how you can enter into this holy day, and remember it is still the Easter season. May the Risen Jesus help us to rediscover joy. #Prep #AscensionThursday ✝
