Last weekend, Prep Theatre presented William Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream.”  The cast and crew of 30 students worked very hard since early December to bring this classic comedy to the stage. The stage "devices" for this show included a passeralle, a trampoline and a crash mat to simulate flying and moving from the one location to another. The play was set in the 1920's Greece. It begins and ends in Athens, and moves deeper and deeper into the surrounding forest which is inhabited by the King and Queen of the fairy kingdom and their attendants who play tricks on four young lovers and a troupe of actors preparing a play for the Duke's wedding feast. Audiences loved the fantastic telling of this tale by our own young actors here at Prep. 🎭
