Cathedral Prep Social Studies teacher Mr. Paul Baltzer received a great surprise last week when a news crew showed up to his classroom to present him with the Golden Apple Award. Jacob Miles ’26 nominated Mr. Baltzer for the award, which is sponsored by JET/FOX/YourErie, PennWest University, and Big Ideas Learning. The Golden Apple Award honors area educators who have made a positive impact upon the youth of our community.
