Cathedral Prep cohosted the PMEA Region II Chorus Festival alongside McDowell this past weekend. We had so much fun, and Mr. Alesso and Mrs. Dongre worked so hard to create an amazing experience. 167 students from 47 school districts qualified for Regions and gathered on Thursday morning to audition to qualify for PMEA States. Guest Director Thomas Brooks was incredible to work with, and the concert was incredible! Nine students from Show Choir represented our school well. Congratulations to Theresa Ferraro ’27, Bella Speros ’26, Tia Taylor ’25, Lauren Proper ’26, Alivia Bean ’26, Natahly Rosales ’26, Chris Reitz ’25, Rob Socash ’25, and Lincoln Laquidara ’27!
Four students placed in the top spots in their section, qualifying for states! Congratulations to Theresa Ferraro placing fourth in Soprano 1, Bella Speros placing third in Soprano 2, Chris Reitz placing first in Tenor 2, and Rob Socash placing fifth in Bass 1.
