He would then serve a total of 30 months deployment from 2005-2011 in the global war on terror in both major theatres of operations within Afghanistan, Iran, and other countries. Post his military commitment, he served many years working in the CIA, and later went on to co-found two companies, The Twenty and RedOwl Analytics. Nowadays, he is a partner at Next Frontier Capital, where he has led 12 direct investments and serves on the board of seven portfolio companies.
