Drew Brown ’24 and Evan Calvert ’24 spent their first week of summer vacation at the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar. This highly competitive program serves as a preliminary application to the Naval Academy, and only approximately 850 students are accepted into each session. Summer Seminar introduces students to life at the Naval Academy, where they get the chance to experience first-class academic, athletic, and professional training.

“Summer Seminar was a great opportunity to get a taste of life at the Academy as a plebe and drastically increased my initiative and team-working skills,” said Brown of his experience.  Calvert’s impression was similar, “The Summer Seminar at the Naval Academy was a great experience to see the day-to-day activities of a plebe. It was a great opportunity to experience life at one of the finest institutions in the country.”

Congrats Drew and Evan – way to represent the Ramblers!
