Juniors at VMA celebrated the time honored tradition of Ring Ceremony on November 9, 2017. The students spent time reflecting on how far they have come since their freshman year and looking forward to the time they still have left at Villa.
The ceremony began with the junior class carrying candles into the auditorium and placing their candle in a candelabra to show the oneness of the sisterhood of Villa.
Principal Brenda Karlinchak '88 led with an opening prayer before the juniors reminisced while enjoying a slideshow of memories showcasing the strong bond the Class of 2019.
The ceremony proceeded with Mrs. Lisa Chimenti-Foster and Ms. Meghan Fuhrman distributing the rings to the girls. Father Mike DeMartinis then blessed the Class of 2019 and their rings! Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the cafeteria for the juniors and their families.
VMA class rings are symbol of the never-ending sisterhood and connection they will have with each other for a lifetime!
