Class Reunions

On Friday, July 22, Reunion Weekend 2022 kicked off at Whispering Woods Golf Club with 18 groups of Prep and Villa alumni hitting the links during the day. That night, over 350 alumni and guests gathered on Dollinger Field at the Hagerty Family Events Center to celebrate the classmates picnic! Members of the Prep and Villa classes ending in “2” and “7,” from the Class of 1947 to the Class of 2017, returned to reminisce and recount the cherished memories they created during their high school years.

Alumni made the most of the beautiful evening by enjoying food provided by Calamari’s, beverages under the beer tent and field games. Prep and Villa classmates enjoyed looking over the wide variety of memorabilia set up inside the Events Center, including old school uniforms, yearbooks and a slideshow featuring students and events at the schools over the years.

On Saturday, classes held individual activities, including golf outings at several courses, classmate-hosted picnics, dinners and happy hours to name a few. Many who attended these events commented that it was a great way to reconnect with their Prep and Villa classmates from years past, and they were very glad they attended.

Mass and brunch were held at the Hagerty Family Events Center to round out reunion events on Sunday morning, with Fr. Jason Feigh and Fr. Mike DeMartinis concelebrating. They were joined at the altar by Deacon Jeff Swanson ’87. Music was provided by alumnus Pat Brown ’96. Alumni readers Patty Cummings Farrell ’72VMA and Dave Slomski ’72 contributed beautifully to the Mass. After Mass, alums and their families enjoyed a breakfast in Café ’64 catered by Calamari’s.
